Actually, you can buy them for quite awhile after you buy your car, and you can even buy them on used cars. I have seen car warranties available on older cars up to 100,000 miles! Car dealerships tend to marke up their products quite a bit, and you can save money by buying directly from the warranty companies.
We all know that our cars will need to be repaired eventually. It always seemes that things go wrong with cars as soon as they are out of their regular warranty! With longer car financing periods, extended warranties are becoming increasingly attractive!
